01Frequently asked
How long does a composite deck last?+

Decades. Our ranges carry written 10–30 year limited warranties and are engineered for South African sun and coastal conditions.

Does composite fade?+

Our capped ranges — Crest, Horizon and Enfold — have built-in UV protection and are fade-, stain- and scratch-resistant. Some gentle initial weathering is normal.

Is it slippery when wet?+

No — every range offers reliable slip resistance, making composite a safe choice around pools.

How much does a deck cost?+

It depends on size, range, colour and site. Tell us about your project and we'll give you a clear, no-obligation quote.

How long does installation take?+

Most residential decks take a few days to a couple of weeks depending on size and substructure. We'll confirm a timeline with your quote.

Can you build over an existing surface or a slope?+

Usually, yes. We engineer the substructure to suit your levels — including raised and multi-level decks on slopes.

How do I maintain it?+

Just an occasional clean with mild soap and water — no sanding, oiling or sealing. See our care guide.

Is there a warranty?+

Yes — every range is backed by a written manufacturer's limited warranty of up to 30 years. See the warranty page for details.

Do you service my area?+

We cover greater Cape Town and the Western Cape, and travel nationwide for larger projects. See service areas.
